What is data logging?
Data logging or monitoring, put simply, is the process of collecting, analysing and saving data.
Data logging is used in monitoring systems where it is impossible, or unproductive for a human to collect the information. The systems used are also far more accurate than a human could be, ensuring the collection of precise data.
Examples of the types of information a data logging system can track include temperature, light intensity, timing, vibration, sound frequency, pressure, and electrical current.
The ability to analyse the data collected is also a key part of data logging; in the case of Abacus Guardian, the system is able to alert the user of any drop or rise in temperature outside of the user’s set guidelines.
Abacus Guardian wireless temperature monitoring allows you to remotely monitor the temperature of any room, cabinet or storage area. If the temperature drops or rises beyond the parameters that you have set you will automatically be alerted. Call us today on 01582 52 80 82 for more information.
